The colonial town of San Miguel de Allende in central Mexico is listed annually as one of the top 10 cities of the world. Rich in history, folk art, culture, shopping and excellent restaurants this beautiful town, with its mild year round temperatures, has been a beloved destination of ours for years. We have acquired two wonderful homes that we would like to share with our friends and clients.

Our fully furnished houses can be rented by the week or the month. Each includes utilities, cable TV, VOIP phone and the services of a housekeeper six days a week and a gardener three days a week. The Caracol house accommodates a maximum of 8 persons. The Aldama house accommodates a maximum of 6 persons. Children 12 years and over please. These are non-smoking properties.

Just one block from the Jardin (central square) and the famous 18th century cathedral, our second home is located on a narrow cobbled one-way street. This large, colonial 3 bedroom/3 bath house has a most dramatic view. Looking west toward the mountains of Guanajuato 65 miles away; the vistas and sunsets are spectacular. Just to the right, the church spires and bell towers rise. The property has six plant-filled terraces/outdoor living spaces offering a balance of sun and shade. The back terrace has a lovely 11' x 35' heated swimming pool.The indoor spaces are roomy and comfortable with local artwork as well as works of art by Little and Lewis adorning the walls. Each of the three bedrooms has its own full bath. The kitchen is nicely appointed. A large comfortable living room with gas fireplace and a dining room with an eight-place table and chairs complete the picture. Guest-friendly and easy for adults and young people alike, this house is in one of the most sought after locations in San Miguel. It is an easy, level walk to everything. The Caracol house is a large Mexican hillside home which has 4 bedrooms, each with its own full bath. The house has 3 gas fireplaces including one in the kitchen / breakfast nook. The upper floor consists of the common living areas, a casita and a large terrace with a fountain and one of the most spectacular views of San Miguel and the countryside. The sun sets directly over the mountains to the west. The bottom level has three bedrooms, a TV room, and another large terrace that, along with the same glorious view, has a small garden filled with lush tropical plants and fragrant jasmine. The house is in a colonial area of town about a 15 minute easy walk over cobbled streets or 4 minute cab ride to the central square (el Jardin). Per week: $1200- $1400 Per month: $2200-$4600
